1.Content Management System (CMS) - A computer system that allows publishing, editing, and modifying content as well as site maintenance from a central page
2.Content type - Defines parameters for the content (e.g. News content will ask for a publication date, Faculty/Staff profile content will ask for a headshot)
3.Duplicate - A function in T4 that allows you to copy a piece of content and place the copy in a new section; changing the content in Section A will not change the content in Section B
4.Landing page - Each department’s main page; think of these as “mini homepages,” or the first page a reader will see when they arrive at your content
5.Media files - Various types of files such as images and PDFs
6.Media library - The area in T4 used to store media files such as images and PDFs
7.Mirror - A function in T4 that allows you to display the same piece of content in more than one section; changing the content in Section A will also change the content in Section B
8.Page layout - Definition of how content is placed on the page
9.Publish - The act of setting your content as “live” on the Internet
10.Section - Analogous to a page; in T4 a “section” is a “page”
